H-1B Visa React Native Developer Jobs
React Native Developer roles qualify as H-1B specialty occupations under the software developer SOC code, requiring a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Employers file an LCA with DOL before petitioning USCIS, and the 85,000-slot annual cap means timing your job search around the April lottery registration window matters.

Map your degree to the SOC code
USCIS evaluates whether your degree field directly supports the React Native Developer role. Pull the O*NET profile for software developers and confirm your transcripts show coursework in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related discipline before applying.
Target employers with cap-exempt status
Universities, nonprofit research institutions, and government-related entities are cap-exempt, meaning they can file your H-1B petition outside the annual lottery. If you miss the April registration window, these employers let you start sooner without waiting a full year.
Use Migrate Mate to filter LCA-filing employers
Search React Native Developer roles on Migrate Mate to see which employers have active H-1B LCA filings on record. This removes guesswork about sponsorship willingness before you spend time on applications or interviews.
Verify the prevailing wage before negotiating
Your employer's LCA must certify your offered salary meets the DOL prevailing wage for your metro area and experience level. Run the OFLC Wage Search for software developer positions in your target city so you know the floor before any offer conversation.
Document cross-platform and native module work
H-1B RFEs for developer roles often challenge whether the position genuinely requires a specialized degree. Compile a portfolio showing architecture decisions, custom native module integrations, and performance work that distinguishes your role from general coding tasks.
Confirm your employer is registered in E-Verify
USCIS requires H-1B-dependent employers to use E-Verify. Ask your recruiter early whether the company is enrolled, especially at smaller startups, since enrollment gaps can delay or complicate your petition filing timeline.

Find React Native Developer JobsReact Native Developer H-1B Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a React Native Developer role qualify as an H-1B specialty occupation?
Yes. React Native Developer positions fall under the software developers SOC code, which USCIS consistently treats as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a directly related field. Your employer will need to document that the specific role requires that degree level, not just that you hold one.
What does the H-1B LCA process mean for my React Native Developer job offer?
Before USCIS can adjudicate your H-1B petition, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL certifying your offered salary meets the prevailing wage for software developers in your work location. LCA certification typically takes seven business days. Your start date cannot precede the certified LCA, so factor this into your offer timeline.
How do I find React Native Developer employers who actually sponsor H-1B visas?
Search React Native Developer listings on Migrate Mate, which surfaces employers based on verified H-1B LCA filing history. This lets you prioritize companies that have sponsored the role before, rather than spending interviews discovering a company won't file. Filtering by filing history is particularly useful for mid-size product companies where sponsorship policies aren't publicly advertised.
Can I switch React Native Developer jobs while on H-1B status?
Yes, through H-1B portability under AC21. If you've had an approved or pending petition for more than 180 days and your new role is in the same or a similar occupational classification, you can start the new job once your new employer files a transfer petition. React Native Developer roles generally port cleanly to other software developer positions without requiring a fresh specialty occupation determination.
What happens to my H-1B status if my React Native Developer contract ends or I'm laid off?
You have a 60-day grace period after your H-1B employment ends to find a new sponsoring employer, change to another visa status, or depart the U.S. During that window, you can't work. If a new employer files a transfer petition before the 60 days expire, you can start work once the petition is received by USCIS, even before approval.
