Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Support sourcing activities including RFQ preparation and vendor communication, to include: organize supplier response, populate comparison matrices, and prepare award recommendations
- Maintain supplier databases and procurement records
- Conduct basic market research, spend analytics and supplier benchmarking to inform category decisions
- Request and coordinate the creation of purchase orders with purchasing team
- Track supplier performance metrics
- Assist in sourcing initiatives analysis and reporting
- Assist with supplier performance monitoring and documentation
- Learn and apply Victaulic’s sourcing policies, supplier code of conduct, and contract administration standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in procurement or sourcing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
