H-2B Visa Account Executive Jobs
Account Executive jobs with H-2B visa sponsorship are available in seasonal industries where employers recruit internationally for temporary sales and client management roles. Sponsorship requires your employer to file a temporary labor certification with the DOL and I-129 with USCIS before the 66,000-visa annual cap fills.

Match your credentials to H-2B qualifying industries
H-2B visa covers temporary non-agricultural roles, so your Account Executive experience needs to tie to a qualifying seasonal industry like hospitality, recreation, or events. Frame your resume around the industry's busy season, not a general sales track.
Search verified H-2B sponsors on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find Account Executive openings at employers who have filed DOL temporary labor certifications. Targeting employers with H-2B filing history dramatically narrows your list to realistic sponsorship candidates.
Time your applications around the H-2B cap filing windows
USCIS splits the 66,000 annual H-2B visas into two halves: 33,000 for October through March start dates and 33,000 for April through September. Apply at least four to five months before your intended start date to stay ahead of cap exhaustion.
Confirm your employer's DOL prevailing wage obligation
Your sponsoring employer must pay at least the OFLC-certified prevailing wage for Account Executive roles in their specific county. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level before negotiating your offer so there are no surprises at certification.
Request a written offer that specifies the temporary period
The DOL labor certification ties your visa to a defined employment period matching the employer's seasonal need. Get the start and end dates confirmed in writing before your employer files, since a mismatch between the offer and the certification application triggers delays.
Verify the role's duties against the O*NET profile
DOL reviewers cross-check H-2B job descriptions against occupational standards. Review the O*NET profile for Account Executives and make sure your employer's job order reflects the listed core tasks, since vague or inflated descriptions increase the risk of a DOL denial.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Account Executive jobs with H-2B visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search Account Executive roles at employers who have already filed H-2B temporary labor certifications with the DOL. Because H-2B sponsorship requires significant employer-side paperwork before you can even apply, targeting employers with confirmed filing history saves you from approaching companies that have never run the process before.
Does the H-2B annual cap affect Account Executive applicants?
Yes, USCIS limits H-2B visas to 66,000 per fiscal year, split evenly between the two semi-annual periods. Demand routinely exhausts each half early in the filing window. Your employer must submit the DOL labor certification and I-129 petition well in advance of your intended start date, and any delay in employer filing can push you past the cap cutoff entirely.
Can an Account Executive role qualify as a temporary H-2B position?
It can, but your employer must demonstrate the need is genuinely temporary, not a permanent business function. H-2B qualifies roles tied to a seasonal peak, a one-time event, or an intermittent need. An Account Executive role supporting a resort's summer season or a conference's annual cycle fits the pattern; a year-round sales position does not.
What happens to my H-2B status if the seasonal position ends early?
H-2B status is tied to the specific employer and the certified employment period. If the job ends before the certified end date, your authorized stay typically ends with it, and you have a short grace period to depart or change status. USCIS does not automatically extend your stay, so notify your employer immediately if the role wraps up ahead of schedule.
