We are looking for a friendly and professional representative to work as a Night Auditor at our branded hotel near Tampa Bay Airport. The Night Auditor is responsible for the front desk operations during the overnight shift (typically 11pm to 7am), assisting guests with their overnight requests, reconciling all hotel transactions; reviewing, organizing and compiling management reports and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings. He/she will use customer service and communication skills to provide the guest with an exceptional and accommodating hotel experience.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room keys
• Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
• Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges
• Answer and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports as required (i. e., Daily Operating Report, Discount Programs, Tax Reports, etc.) according to hotel standards.
• Prepare and distribute month end reports.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
• Input and update financial data.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual data processing system functions as required.
• Keep management abreast of any unusual operational or financial events and/or deviations of policies or procedures.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

The ideal candidate has:

• High attention to detail
• Front desk and night auditor experience
• Customer service oriented mindset with the ability to resolve conflicts
• The ability to anticipate guest or operational needs
• Will demonstrate professionalism at all times

And must be able to:

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 15 lbs. without assistance
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
