As a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, you’ll create a welcoming first impression and help guests enjoy a smooth stay. You’ll manage front desk tasks, respond to questions, and coordinate with hotel teams to resolve requests. Duties
- Welcome guests, complete check-in and checkout, and manage reservations using hospitality reservation systems or property management systems (PMS), such as OPERA.
- Answer and route calls with multi-line phone systems, using professional phone etiquette and clear client communication.
- Handle guest requests and concerns with customer service problem-solving, and coordinate with relevant hotel staff.
- Maintain accurate guest records, process payments, and support night audit tasks as assigned.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures and share relevant information with guests and colleagues.
Experience
- Customer service, front desk, guest relations, or guest services experience is valuable; hotel experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospitality, hotel management, or hospitality management practices and reservation systems is an asset.
- Strong phone communication skills and a calm, helpful approach to resolving guest concerns are important.
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are welcome, as are resort experience and familiarity with OPERA or other PMS platforms.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
