Human Resources Manager Jobs in Irvine: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a human resources manager job in Irvine?
Irvine's strongest hiring comes from its technology, biopharmaceutical, and financial services sectors, with many openings concentrated around the Irvine Spectrum and the business parks near John Wayne Airport. Candidates who stand out typically combine generalist HR experience with exposure to California-specific employment law and, increasingly, HR information system expertise. Targeting mid-size tech and life sciences companies in these corridors gives you access to the most active local market.
Which companies hire human resources managers in Irvine?
Irvine human resources manager roles are posted by Henkel, Masimo, and Qcells and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. The city's employer base skews toward established mid-size companies and regional headquarters in tech, healthcare, and financial services, making it a particularly active market for HR professionals with corporate generalist or business partner experience.
Are there remote human resources manager jobs in Irvine?
Yes, though with limits, since HR managers frequently handle in-person employee relations, onboarding, and compliance work that anchors them on-site at least part of the week. About 50% of human resources manager openings tied to Irvine are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting a market where hybrid schedules are more common than fully remote arrangements. Strategic and analytical HR functions, such as workforce planning and HRIS administration, are most likely to be performed remotely within Irvine-based roles.
How can I get a human resources manager job in Irvine with little or no experience?
The most realistic path in Irvine is moving up from an HR coordinator or HR generalist role within one of the city's many mid-size technology or life sciences companies, where smaller HR teams give junior staff broader exposure faster. Irvine's biopharmaceutical and medical device employers also hire HR assistants who develop compliance and employee relations skills that translate directly to manager-level openings. Completing a SHRM certification or PHR credential while in a coordinator role significantly strengthens a promotion case locally.
