Who's Hiring

Human Resources Specialist Jobs in Nashville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a human resources specialist job in Nashville?
Focus your search on Nashville's healthcare networks, insurance carriers, and corporate headquarters clustered in Midtown and the CBD, where HR teams tend to be larger and hire more consistently. Candidates with experience in benefits administration, HRIS platforms, or employee relations have a clear edge in this market. Attending SHRM Nashville chapter events and connecting directly with HR leaders at local employers also opens doors that online applications alone won't.
Which companies hire human resources specialists in Nashville?
Employers hiring human resources specialists in Nashville right now include HCA Healthcare, Vyne, and Stampli, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Nashville's mix of large healthcare systems, insurance companies, and growing corporate campuses means demand comes from both legacy employers and newer firms scaling their workforce operations.
Are there remote human resources specialist jobs in Nashville?
Yes, though availability depends on the specialization, with analytical and compliance-focused roles more remote-friendly than those requiring on-site employee interaction. About 73% of human resources specialist openings tied to Nashville are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting broader flexibility trends among Nashville's corporate employers. Roles in HRIS administration and benefits coordination are the most likely to offer fully remote arrangements.
How can I get a human resources specialist job in Nashville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Nashville is starting as an HR coordinator or administrative assistant within one of the city's large healthcare systems or insurance carriers, where structured HR departments frequently hire and develop entry-level staff. Lateral moves from payroll or office administration roles are also common at mid-sized Nashville companies. Earning a PHR certification or completing SHRM's competency-based curriculum strengthens a junior candidate's profile meaningfully in this market.
