INTRODUCTION
The HRIS Technology Analyst provides analytical and systems support within the HRIS group. The primary focus of this position is to provide technical expertise and problem solving for the department’s business partners and IT, to apply industry best practices and standards to create optimum solutions that improve business performance. This position serves as a technical point-of-contact and assists HR functional areas with gathering requirements, ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. This position also conducts analytical studies to provide results and recommendations to management for department and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. The HRIS Technology Analyst also supports HR system upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists HR Tech Managers on process improvement efforts
- Maintain a high-level understanding of Human Resource, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Absence Management and Talent business processes and practices
- In coordination with IT, test and troubleshoot functional issues as they arise in the normal course of business; implements changes necessary to achieve successful resolution of functional issues
- Serves as subject matter expert and consultant for global HR systems, data and processes
- Provides production support, which includes researching and resolving problems, as well as, performing system testing for updates
- Must always maintain absolute confidentiality and safeguard sensitive data
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and joining professional organizations
- Delivers change management tools as a part of the ongoing development of HR programs and transformation of the organization resulting in de-risked implementations and ongoing sustainable behavior changes
- Analyzes current processes, recommends, and implements new processes as appropriate
- Analyzes and evaluates competitor data and industry trends to understand current business unit competitive posture
- Collaborates with business units and senior management to conduct needs assessment to support organization strategies, tactics, and learning solutions that support business unit objectives
- Collaborates with management to establish objectives, standards, and strategies for delivering updates and changes to HRIS processes
- Performs other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience
- Master required or bachelor’s degree and years of experience combined
- Proficient in writing SQL based queries preferred, but not required
- Willingness and capacity to learn new technologies as necessary
- Attention to detail to ensure high quality deliverables
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced, multi-task environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen to needs, provide clear direction
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work with business partners to solve complex problems and document requirements
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud preferred
