Job Description
You're self-driven and accountable, equally comfortable in structured and ambiguous environments. You take ownership, raise risks early, and bring practical solutions instead of just escalating problems. You're genuinely curious about the business and how technology lands with real people and real operations. Most of all, you thrive in an open, collaborative culture. You share what you learn, ask for help when you need it, and represent CTSI with the kind of professional maturity that makes clients and colleagues want to keep working with you. CTSI is a newly formed team – you're getting in on the ground floor. We operate with a strong open culture of collaboration and teamwork: candid conversations, shared wins, mutual respect, and a belief that the best solutions come from people thinking together. If that sounds like where you do your best work, we'd love to hear from you.

Implementation Specialist Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a implementation specialist in New York?
Most implementation specialists in New York enter through a bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, or computer science, followed by experience in a client-facing technical or operations role. New York does not require a state-issued license for this role, but employers in healthcare IT often expect familiarity with HIPAA compliance, and financial services firms value candidates with exposure to regulated technology environments. Building experience with platforms like Salesforce, Epic, or SAP and earning relevant vendor certifications strengthens your candidacy significantly.
Which companies hire implementation specialists in New York?
Employers hiring implementation specialists in New York right now include Arch, ABM Industries, and Bloomberg, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's density of financial institutions, major hospital networks, and enterprise technology firms creates consistent demand for specialists who can manage complex, high-stakes software rollouts.
Which New York cities have the most implementation specialist jobs?
New York, New York, and Buffalo have the most implementation specialist openings in New York. New York City dominates due to its concentration of financial services firms, healthcare systems, and enterprise software clients, while Albany draws demand from state government technology contracts and healthcare IT, and Buffalo has grown as a back-office and regional operations hub for larger organizations.
Are there remote implementation specialist jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than many technical roles. About 33% of implementation specialist openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the largely project-based and client-communication nature of the work. The phases most likely to be remote are discovery, configuration, and training, while go-live support and on-site client meetings still tend to require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a implementation specialist in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into implementation from a related role such as business analyst, technical support specialist, or customer success associate, all of which are common stepping stones at New York-based technology firms and hospital systems. Large employers like major New York health networks and SaaS companies with New York offices regularly hire associate implementation consultants for structured onboarding cohorts. Earning a vendor certification in a widely used platform, such as Salesforce Administrator or Epic Ambulatory, gives candidates without direct implementation experience a concrete credential that hiring managers in New York recognize.
Where can I find and apply to implementation specialist jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to implementation specialist jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring in the state right now. Search the available roles, find one that fits your background and target industry, and apply directly.
