Entry Level Inside Sales Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level inside sales manager job?
Entry level inside sales manager roles favor candidates who can show real sales activity, even from internships, campus roles, or short-term projects. Employers at this level look for comfort with CRM tools, a demonstrated ability to hit a quota or move leads through a pipeline, and strong communication skills. A cover letter that ties your internship results or coursework directly to the job description gives you a clear edge over candidates with vague experience claims.

At this level, hiring tends to come from growth-stage technology firms, staffing companies, and regional businesses building out their first dedicated inside sales teams.
Are there remote entry level inside sales manager jobs?
Yes, though most entry level inside sales manager openings still favor on-site or hybrid arrangements. About 20% of entry level inside sales manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates who are flexible on location will find the widest pool of opportunities at this stage.
Are these new grad inside sales manager jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior inside sales manager roles. A new-grad-friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship work or a demonstrated sales portfolio in place of full-time history, and does not require prior management credentials. If a listing mentions training programs or entry level development tracks, it is generally open to candidates coming straight out of school.
Which industries hire the most entry level inside sales managers?
Entry Level inside sales manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Distribution & Wholesale, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
