Logistics Coordinator Jobs in Dallas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a logistics coordinator job in Dallas?
Focus your search on the freight and third-party logistics firms clustered near DFW Airport and the Stemmons Freeway corridor, the e-commerce distribution centers in South Dallas and Mesquite, and the manufacturing and wholesale distributors in Garland and Irving. Candidates who can show experience with transportation management systems and freight carrier coordination move fastest through Dallas hiring processes. Familiarity with cross-border trade flows through the DFW region is a genuine differentiator.
Which companies hire logistics coordinators in Dallas?
Employers hiring logistics coordinators in Dallas right now include Freeman, EMBED, and Mode Global, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Dallas attracts a wide mix of national 3PL providers, regional freight brokers, and large retailers with major distribution operations tied to the DFW metroplex.
Are there remote logistics coordinator jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the role type. About 51% of logistics coordinator openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those tend to be desk-based positions involving shipment tracking, carrier communication, and data entry rather than hands-on warehouse or yard coordination. Customer-facing or freight-brokerage-adjacent roles in Dallas offer the most remote flexibility.
How can I get a logistics coordinator job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Dallas is through warehouse operations or customer service roles at the large distribution and 3PL facilities in South Dallas, Mesquite, or Hutchins, where internal promotions into coordination are common. Freight brokerage firms along the Stemmons Corridor also hire logistics assistants and carrier representatives who transition into coordinator roles within a year. Proficiency with shipment-tracking software and a willingness to work early morning or split shifts accelerates that move.
