Entry Level Logistics Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level logistics job?
Focus on roles that list internship experience or coursework as acceptable qualifications, since most entry level logistics positions prioritize practical exposure over years on the job. Highlight any supply chain coursework, warehouse experience, or software familiarity with tools like Excel or inventory management systems. A clear resume that shows attention to detail and reliability goes a long way at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level logistics candidates?
Companies hiring entry level logistics candidates right now include Ryder System, Knapp, and Amazon, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including large distributors, retailers with fulfillment operations, and third-party logistics providers that regularly bring in junior talent to support growing supply chain teams.
Are there remote entry level logistics jobs?
Yes, though most entry level logistics roles are on-site given the hands-on nature of the work. About 8% of entry level logistics openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those tend to be in coordination, customer-facing supply chain support, or logistics analyst roles rather than warehouse or operations floor positions.
Are these new grad logistics jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior logistics roles alongside other entry level openings. A posting is typically new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or co-op placements toward the requirement, or lists a relevant degree as a substitute for prior professional experience. Searching for "new grad" or "junior" alongside logistics will surface these postings directly.
Which industries hire the most entry level logistics candidates?
Entry level logistics roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive junior hiring because they operate high-volume supply chains that require consistent coordination support, making them reliable entry points for candidates building foundational experience in the field.
