THE PRACTICE:

This role sits within our Supply Chain & Engineering organization and aligns itself with our Maintenance & Reliability capability (formerly Intelligent Asset Management), part of Accenture Reinvention Services.

Supply Chain & Engineering professionals help clients apply AI and digital technologies across the product and asset lifecycle to build competitive advantage. Within that, our Maintenance & Reliability practice helps asset-intensive industries turn operational data into reliability advantage, improving asset performance, reducing unplanned downtime, and building the foundation for sustainable, long-term operational efficiency across the full asset lifecycle.

We combine deep domain expertise with AI and digital technologies (EAM, APM, RBI, predictive analytics, and the connected worker) to help clients get more from the assets they already own. Our point of view is simple: the organizations that win are the ones that know their assets best.

THE WORK:

• Lead the growth of the Maintenance & Reliability business across one or more of the five sub-industries, owning origination, client relationships, and a portfolio of engagements from sales through delivery.
• This role requires industry context in one or more of the following sub-industries: basic and petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, metals & mining, forest products, and building materials.
• Shape and sell large-scale reliability and asset management transformations, developing compelling value propositions, proposals, and commercial structures that improve win rates and margin.
• Own engagement economics and delivery quality, including financial forecasting, scope and margin management, and outcomes clients can measure.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite, VP Operations, and plant leadership, translating asset and operational data into reliability strategy and quantified business cases.
• Build and lead teams of consultants and engineers, developing talent and setting delivery standards across multiple accounts.
• Develop offerings, assets, and points of view that advance the practice, spanning EAM (SAP, Maximo, IFS, Octave Attune), APM (AVEVA, GE, AspenTech), RBI, predictive analytics, and the connected worker.
• Represent Accenture at industry forums and with alliance partners to open markets and differentiate our solutions.
• Champion workforce adoption and change management as a core part of every deployment, not an afterthought.

Travel Requirements:

Travel is required for this role and could vary up to 75%

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 8+ years of maintenance, reliability, and asset management experience across industry and consulting, with 5+ years leading delivery.
• 5+ years in origination and sales: building pipeline, closing work, and growing accounts in asset-intensive industries.

• 5+ years of Industry context in one or more of: basic and petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, metals & mining, forest products, and building materials.
• 2+ years of Working knowledge of EAM and APM platforms (e.g., SAP, Maximo, IFS, AVEVA, GE, AspenTech) and how they connect to reliability outcomes.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• MBA or graduate degree.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience)

• Prior experience building a business or service offering from incubation to scale.
• Experience owning P&L or engagement economics, including forecasting, margin, and financial management across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Deep functional command of reliability and asset management practices: RCM, criticality analysis, FMEA, RCA, work management, and shutdown/turnaround.
• Proven ability to lead delivery teams larger than five people and to develop talent.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (e.g., ISO 55000, ISO 14224, API, SMRP body of knowledge).

• Experience integrating AI and advanced analytics into reliability and asset strategy.
• Excellent communication and executive presence, both written and verbal.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
