About The Job
The Plant Maintenance Specialist is responsible for understanding plant operations and contributing to site goals. This role involves performing inspections of critical areas, executing routine maintenance tasks with minimal supervision, and assisting with larger maintenance jobs. The position serves as a key step in developing technical expertise and operational awareness.

- Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment: Ability to perform routine maintenance with little to no supervision
- Monitoring Processes, Materials, or Surroundings: Strong attention to detail when inspecting equipment and identifying issues
- Making Decisions and Solving Problems: Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
- Communication and Collaboration: Ability to assist experienced team members with complex repairs
- Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards: Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively within a team
Education
Skills You Need:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Understanding of plant operations, processes, and performance goals
- Familiarity with inspection procedures for critical areas of the site
- Knowledge of routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting techniques
- Basic understanding of larger maintenance tasks and repair processes
