No state-issued license is required to work as a manager of finance in Nebraska, but earning a CPA through the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy or a CMA through the Institute of Management Accountants significantly strengthens your candidacy. Building several years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or controllership is the typical path to a management-level role.
