- Assist Manufacturing Engineers in designing and implementing manufacturing processes for products and components as well as optimize processes to achieve cost savings.
- Set up, operate, and maintain various manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during manufacturing processes.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous process improvements.
- Prepare and update manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor production lines and equipment trends, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
- Assist in the training of production personnel on new processes and equipment.
- Work closely with the engineering team to develop fixtures and in-line testers. Validate the effectiveness of these tools.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any manufacturing issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process optimization and new product introductions.
- Assist in the selection and procurement of manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all manufacturing activities.
- Comply with company ISO 14001 and 9001 requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
