Responsibilities
- Manufacturing leadership experience. Direct experience in managing personnel
- Analyzes and adjusts scheduling of customer kanban to better meet the needs of the customer and production process.
- Coordinate the daily activities to determine production and quality delivery issues affecting the process. Problem-solving and resolution to meet the business efficiency plan.
- Assign/delegate responsibility for specific work to meet safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery.
- Tracks and maintains training of employees to meet business objectives.
- Verifies shipments/ASN’s meet both customer requirements and are accurate to the shipment pull sheet if need be (based on demand).
- KPI’s for department (O.T, KPM’s, Downtime, etc.)
- Must be able to create work instructions based on cycle times and meet targeted production times.
- Required to operate equipment, fill-in, and conduct same tasks to support the production Team Members in accomplishing production objectives.
- Maintain and monitor proper performance of equipment.
- Capable to analyze and identify any potential cost savings.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Other projects and assignments as requested by the management team.
Qualifications
- Strong math skills – Ability to compute rate, ratio, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Good language skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals or technical procedures. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- 3 to 5 years manufacturing experience.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and talk or hear.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision.
Working Environment
- Must be able to work in the manufacturing floor 85% of the time for inventory or validation of material.
- Able to use Protective Equipment according with the safety requirements for each area.
- Able to work in heavy traffic areas.
- Able to work in hot and humid conditions.
- Able to work in noisy areas where hearing protective equipment is required.
