To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Bandsaw Blade Manufacturing Technician to support out team in Summerville, S.C.
Key Responsibilities
- Blade Welding & Joining (Weld blade coil ends using precision welding equipment; ensure proper alignment, penetration, and joint strength)
- Grinding & Finishing (Grind welds to smooth, uniform thickness; remove excess material; ensure proper tooth spacing and blade tracking)
- Material Preparation (Measure, cut, and handle coil stock)
- Quality Control (Inspect blades for weld integrity, straightness, tooth accuracy, and surface finish using gauges, micrometers, and visual inspection standards)
- Machine Operation & Maintenance (Operate welders and grinders, perform routine cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs)
- Safety & Compliance (Follow safety procedures; maintain a clean, organized work area)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to operate welding, grinding equipment
- Ability to read measurements, gauges, and technical specifications
- Comfortable working with coil stock, sharp edges, and industrial machinery
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
