How do I get a marketing coordinator job in Chicago?
Focus your search on the Loop, River North, Fulton Market, and the Magnificent Mile corridor, where agencies, consumer packaged goods companies, financial services firms, and tech companies concentrate their marketing teams. Chicago's agency scene is particularly strong, so targeting mid-size integrated agencies is a realistic entry point. Candidates who can show hands-on campaign execution, familiarity with marketing automation tools, and knowledge of Chicago's local media landscape stand out.
Which companies hire marketing coordinators in Chicago?
Chicago marketing coordinator roles are posted by Katten, IA Interior Architects, and EY and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Chicago's mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional agency networks, and fast-growing consumer brands means opportunities exist across a wide range of employer sizes and industries.
Are there remote marketing coordinator jobs in Chicago?
Yes, though availability depends on the role's focus. Roles centered on content, email, and digital campaign management tend to go remote more often than event, retail, or in-person brand activation positions.
