Job Description:
What This Role Is All About
Likewize is looking for a Integrated Marketing Designer to join us onsite at our global headquarters in Southlake, Texas.
We’re rebuilding a key in-house lead design role on our U.S. marketing team for a true hands-on creator who loves owning the full arc of the work, from shaping ideas into clear concepts to delivering finished assets used in the real world. This person brings strong marketing instincts as well as visual taste, knowing how to balance aesthetic and utility to create work that resonates with audience context and drives results. At the core of the role is an AI‑first mindset, using AI as a force multiplier to expand creative range, speed iteration, and raise quality, all grounded in sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail. This role is perfect for you if you’re a marketing professional that’s growth-oriented, hungry to learn, and a high-impact, high-responsibility role.
Your Key Areas of Focus
- Own end-to-end creative production for client, sales, brand, and business storytelling assets.
- Design high-quality digital and print collateral, including presentations, one-pagers, social, email, event materials, and campaign assets.
- Build engaging sales demos, case studies, and testimonials that make complex ideas clear, compelling, and easy to sell.
- Create confidently across multiple brands, channels, formats, and specs.
- Use AI as a creative force multiplier to move faster, explore more, and raise the quality bar.
- Look past the brief to understand the real audience—what they care about, worry about, and respond to.
- Turn customer and client insight into creative that drives clarity, resonance, and conversion.
- Work autonomously from concept to final files, while continuously improving workflows, templates, and asset organization.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on creative production experience, delivering high-quality work quickly and independently in fast-moving environments.
- A proven creator, not delegator. You’ll have a portfolio showing us that you can own real marketing work across digital, print, presentations, motion, emails, and landing pages.
- Advanced, AI-centered production workflow, combining AI, design, presentation, and motion tools to move from brief to final assets faster and better.
- Someone that is confident, communicative, creative, comfortable with ambiguity, able to explain and defend decisions, and driven by the intersection of storytelling, design, and behavior.
- Strong marketing instincts grounded in psychology, with a habit of researching audience motivations, objections, and emotional drivers to shape persuasive and effective work.
- High-end visual and presentation design skills, including advanced PowerPoint fluency and sharp attention to detail and craft.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with attention to tone, voice, and accuracy.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign.
Extra Skills We’d Love to See
- Experience in B2B2C environments where there are layers of audience types to appeal to.
- Experience working across multiple brands and stakeholder groups at once.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and/or DaVinci Resolve.
- Hands-on experience with marketing technology including Klaviyo, Hubspot, Wordpress, GA4, and VWO.
Show Us What You’ve Got
As part of your application, please share a link to your design portfolio, either within your resume or as a separate file. We’d love to see your creative process and how you bring ideas to life across a range of mediums, including social media, pitch decks, email campaigns, video, and beyond.

Marketing Designer Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing designer in Texas?
Marketing designer roles in Texas do not require a state-issued license or registration, so the path centers on education and portfolio. Most Texas employers expect a bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field from a program accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. Candidates who build a portfolio showing brand, digital, and campaign work and who complete internships with Texas companies in retail, tech, or consumer goods move into hiring pools quickly.
How much do marketing designers make in Texas?
Marketing designers in Texas earn a median of about $60,150 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,340 for the lowest 10% to over $92,910 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing designers in Texas?
Employers hiring marketing designers in Texas right now include Amazon, AmeriHome Mortgage Company, and Apple, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's dense concentration of corporate headquarters in Dallas and Austin, alongside major retail and energy brands in Houston, means in-house creative teams here post consistently throughout the year.
Which Texas cities have the most marketing designer jobs?
Austin, Dallas, and Fort Worth account for the most marketing designer openings in Texas. Austin's concentration of technology and consumer brands drives strong creative hiring there, Dallas draws volume from its headquarters-heavy corporate corridor covering retail, telecom, and financial services, and Houston's energy, healthcare, and consumer goods sectors sustain steady demand for in-house marketing design teams.
Are there remote marketing designer jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 27% of marketing designer openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how naturally desk-based and screen-centered the work is. Brand strategy and digital campaign design tend to be the most remote-friendly specialties, while roles tied to in-store retail marketing or event production typically require an on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a marketing designer in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a junior or associate designer role at a Texas agency or in-house creative team, applying directly with a portfolio built from coursework, freelance projects, or pro bono nonprofit work. Large Texas retailers and tech companies, including those headquartered in Austin and the Dallas-Fort Worth metro, run internship and new-grad programs that feed into full-time design roles. Moving laterally from a marketing coordinator or content coordinator position is also a common door-opener, especially when paired with a design certificate from a Texas community college or university continuing education program.
