Marketing Operations Manager Jobs in New Jersey: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing operations manager in New Jersey?
Most marketing operations manager roles in New Jersey require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, and no state-issued license applies to this role. New Jersey employers in pharma and financial services typically prioritize candidates who have progressed through analyst or marketing coordinator roles, built hands-on experience with automation platforms, and can demonstrate measurable campaign results. Earning a platform certification from Marketo or HubSpot strengthens applications considerably in this market.
How much do marketing operations managers make in New Jersey?
Marketing operations managers in New Jersey earn a median of about $180,040 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $126,760 for the lowest 10% to over $298,870 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing operations managers in New Jersey?
Employers hiring marketing operations managers in New Jersey right now include Kenvue, Sandoz, and NinjaOne, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. New Jersey's concentration of Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and financial services headquarters means many of these openings sit within large enterprise marketing teams with dedicated operations functions.
Which New Jersey cities have the most marketing operations manager jobs?
Princeton, Gladstone, and New Jersey have the most marketing operations manager openings in New Jersey. The distribution reflects the state's major corporate clusters: the Newark and Jersey City corridor draws financial services and tech employers, while Princeton and the surrounding Route 1 corridor is anchored by pharmaceutical and life sciences companies that run substantial marketing operations teams.
Are there remote marketing operations manager jobs in New Jersey?
Yes, and more than most fields, because marketing operations work is largely digital and platform-based. About 83% of marketing operations manager openings tied to New Jersey are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how well the role translates to distributed team structures. The functions most commonly offered remotely include automation platform management, analytics reporting, and campaign workflow optimization.
How can I get hired as a marketing operations manager in New Jersey with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a marketing coordinator or marketing analyst role at one of New Jersey's large pharmaceutical or financial services companies, where structured rotational or associate programs often exist for early-career candidates. Employers like those based along the Princeton Route 1 corridor and in the Newark metro regularly hire associates into marketing operations support functions. Building proficiency in a leading automation platform and earning a vendor certification, such as Marketo Certified Associate, gives candidates without direct experience a concrete edge.
Where can I find and apply to marketing operations manager jobs in New Jersey?
