Marketing Operations Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing operations manager in New York?
Marketing operations manager roles in New York do not require a state-issued license or certification. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline, combined with hands-on experience in marketing automation and CRM platforms. New York's dense concentration of financial services firms, media companies, and tech employers means candidates who build platform certifications from vendors like Marketo or Salesforce and demonstrate data-driven campaign experience are consistently competitive for these roles.
How much do marketing operations managers make in New York?
Marketing operations managers in New York earn a median of about $181,200 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $104,140 for the lowest 10% to over $324,310 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing operations managers in New York?
Employers hiring marketing operations managers in New York right now include Box, GEICO, and Navan, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. New York's mix of global media corporations, financial institutions, and fast-growing tech companies generates consistent demand across a wide range of company sizes and industries.
Which New York cities have the most marketing operations manager jobs?
New York, New York State, and Rochester have the most marketing operations manager openings in New York. New York City dominates because of its unmatched density of corporate headquarters in finance, media, advertising, and technology, while White Plains and other Westchester County locations draw demand from regional brand and healthcare marketing teams anchored by large employers based just north of the city.
Are there remote marketing operations manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 68% of marketing operations manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the work centers on platform management, data analysis, and campaign coordination that does not require a physical presence. The most fully remote positions tend to sit within automation, reporting, and marketing technology administration functions.
How can I get hired as a marketing operations manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a marketing coordinator or marketing analyst role at a mid-size New York company, where hands-on exposure to CRM and campaign tools builds the operational foundation employers look for. Large New York media and financial services firms often hire marketing associates or rotational program participants who move into operations functions within one to two years. Earning a vendor certification in Marketo, HubSpot, or Salesforce before applying gives candidates without a direct operations title a concrete, recognizable credential that offsets limited formal experience.
Where can I find and apply to marketing operations manager jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to marketing operations manager jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Find roles that fit your experience and location and apply directly to the employers posting them.
