Description
Wolfe is a Pittsburgh-based FinTech company embedding AI into our products, our internal processes, and the way our teams work day to day, and marketing is one of the areas where that shows up most in the daily grind of coordination across channels. As Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you will lead the effort to bring order to a marketing function juggling a high volume of concurrent work across Google, Amazon, e-commerce, digital advertising, social media, creative production, and promotional campaigns, building the tracking systems, prioritization frameworks, and reporting cadences the team currently lacks. You will work directly with marketing leadership as the operational backbone of the function, documenting decisions and priorities, monitoring performance, and using AI-assisted tools where they help you track a large volume of moving initiatives more efficiently. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, built for someone who drives results through process, follow-through, and cross-functional influence rather than headcount. This is a 5-day onsite role in Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Track key marketing initiatives and open action items across the full channel mix, maintaining a single system of record so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Document key marketing decisions, action items, and priorities, ensuring ownership is assigned and follow-through occurs until completion.
- Coordinate day-to-day handoffs between marketing's functional areas (content, paid media, marketplace, social, and creative) to close the gaps in ownership and timing that are currently slowing the team down.
- Monitor performance and operational metrics across marketing initiatives, compiling updates and surfacing risks, delays, or performance concerns that require leadership attention.
- Build and run the recurring operating cadence (status reviews, check-ins, reporting) that keeps marketing initiatives moving without needing direct oversight from leadership.
- Identify and implement at least 2 to 3 process or automation improvements that measurably reduce manual tracking, status chasing, or coordination work across the marketing team.
- Stand up a single tracking dashboard covering all active marketing initiatives, with named owners and due dates, and have marketing leadership using it in place of ad hoc status checks.
- Complete a full audit of open marketing tasks across all channels and close out at least 50% of items flagged as overdue or unowned.
- Establish a recurring cross-functional marketing operations cadence and run it independently for at least four consecutive weeks.
- Take over day-to-day coordination of at least three marketing initiatives that currently require direct involvement from senior leadership to stay on track.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, program management, project management, or similar cross-functional roles, including experience operating within a complex digital marketing organization.
- Demonstrated ability to bring structure to a fast-moving, under-organized marketing function, including building tracking systems, prioritization frameworks, and reporting cadences from scratch.
- Experience coordinating or managing initiatives across a mix of digital marketing channels, such as paid search and marketplace advertising (for example, Google Ads, Amazon Advertising, or Seller Central), social media, creative production, or promotional campaigns.
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to drive alignment across content, paid media, marketplace, and creative teams without formal authority over those teams.
- Comfortable operating as the single point of coordination for a busy marketing leader, surfacing issues and closing loops without needing to be chased.

Marketing Operations Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing operations manager in Pennsylvania?
Most marketing operations manager roles in Pennsylvania require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a closely related discipline. Pennsylvania does not issue a state license for this role, so employers focus on demonstrated platform expertise and operational experience. Building proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics, then advancing from coordinator or analyst roles at Philadelphia- or Pittsburgh-area companies, is the most direct path.
How much do marketing operations managers make in Pennsylvania?
Marketing operations managers in Pennsylvania earn a median of about $150,810 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $76,990 for the lowest 10% to over $246,320 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing operations managers in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring marketing operations managers in Pennsylvania right now include Lutron Electronics, Merck, and Omnicell, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Pennsylvania's concentration of large healthcare networks, financial institutions, and technology firms creates consistent year-round demand for this role across the state.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most marketing operations manager jobs?
Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Conshohocken have the most marketing operations manager openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia dominates because of its dense cluster of healthcare systems, insurers, and corporate headquarters, while Pittsburgh's growing technology and financial services sectors drive strong demand there, and Harrisburg's government contractors and regional associations account for a meaningful share of postings in the central part of the state.
Are there remote marketing operations manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and more than most fields. Marketing operations is an analytical and platform-driven role that translates well to remote work. About 67% of marketing operations manager openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how widely the role has shifted away from on-site requirements. Campaign management, automation workflow building, and reporting functions are the tasks most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a marketing operations manager in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a marketing coordinator or marketing analyst role at a Philadelphia or Pittsburgh company, then moving into operations responsibilities as you build platform skills. Large Pennsylvania employers like Comcast and Independence Blue Cross run structured rotational or associate programs that bring in candidates without direct marketing operations titles. Earning a recognized marketing automation certification and building a portfolio of campaign workflow projects gives candidates a competitive edge when applying to these programs.
Where can I find and apply to marketing operations manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to marketing operations manager jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find roles that match your experience and location preferences, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
