Contract Talent Acquisition Partner, Marketing & Operations
Location: Austin, TX
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, in office at least four days per week
Employment Type: Contract
Start Timeline: Must be available to begin within two weeks of an accepted offer
TogetherWork is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to provide recruiting support across Marketing and specialized Operations hiring within our growing SaaS organization.
Our primary need is a recruiter with strong Marketing recruiting expertise who can partner effectively with Marketing leaders and recruit across multiple specialized disciplines. This individual will also support professional and specialized Operations searches and flex across additional recruiting needs as business priorities evolve.
We are moving quickly and are looking for someone who can step into an established recruiting environment, learn the business, and begin executing immediately.
What You Will Own
You will manage full-cycle recruiting for a portfolio primarily focused on Marketing and select professional Operations roles.
Marketing Recruiting
Partner directly with Marketing leaders to recruit specialized talent across areas such as:
Product Marketing
Integrated Marketing
Demand Generation and Growth
Marketing Operations
Digital Marketing
Content and Communications
Social Media
Brand and other specialized Marketing functions
You should understand the differences between these disciplines and be able to have credible intake conversations with Marketing leaders about the capabilities, experience, and business outcomes they need.
This means going beyond matching keywords on a resume.
You will be expected to develop targeted sourcing strategies, identify passive talent, assess relevant Marketing experience, challenge unclear requirements when appropriate, and build pipelines for searches that require proactive sourcing.
Operations Recruiting
You will also support specialized and professional Operations hiring across areas that may include:
Customer Experience
Implementation and Onboarding
Professional Services
Business Operations
Solutions and consulting-oriented roles
Operational leadership and other specialized functions
These searches may require targeted sourcing, detailed candidate assessment, and close partnership with business leaders to identify candidates with the right combination of functional expertise, SaaS experience, customer orientation, and operational capability.
As business needs shift, this recruiter may also provide additional recruiting support across broader Operations hiring.
What You Will Do
Own recruiting from kickoff through accepted offer and requisition closeout.
Conduct structured kickoff meetings that define the success profile, required experience, sourcing strategy, interview process, and hiring timeline.
Build proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels.
Screen and assess candidates against clearly defined requirements rather than simply forwarding resumes.
Partner closely with hiring managers while maintaining recruiter ownership of the hiring process.
Set expectations, follow up consistently, and address process delays before searches lose momentum.
Maintain accurate and current information in Greenhouse throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
Follow established interview, assessment, documentation, and compliance processes.
Drive timely interviewer feedback and scorecard completion.
Deliver consistent candidate communication and a professional candidate experience.
Use recruiting data and funnel activity to identify where a search is working and where the strategy needs to change.
Use AI and recruiting technology appropriately to improve research, sourcing, application review, communication, and recruiting efficiency while maintaining recruiter judgment and accountability.
Flex across additional recruiting priorities when business needs require additional support.
What You Bring
Strong Marketing recruiting experience is required.
We are specifically looking for someone who has successfully recruited specialized Marketing professionals within a SaaS or technology environment.
You should also bring:
Strong full-cycle recruiting experience within a SaaS or technology organization.
Demonstrated success recruiting across multiple specialized Marketing disciplines.
Experience recruiting professional, specialized, or leadership-level Operations talent.
Strong passive sourcing capabilities. This role cannot depend solely on inbound applicants.
Ability to adjust recruiting strategy based on the level, specialization, and candidate market for each search.
Strong working knowledge of Greenhouse.
Confidence partnering directly with senior leaders and hiring managers.
Ability to challenge assumptions, clarify requirements, and provide recruiting market perspective when needed.
Strong organization and follow-through across multiple active requisitions.
Experience working within structured recruiting processes and maintaining accurate recruiting documentation.
Comfort using metrics, funnel data, AI, and recruiting technology to make decisions and improve efficiency.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to operate with urgency without sacrificing accuracy or process discipline.
Availability to begin the contract assignment within two weeks of accepting an offer.
What Success Looks Like
You understand that recruiting a Product Marketing leader requires a different strategy than recruiting an Implementation or Customer Experience professional.
You can source.
You can assess talent.
You understand Marketing well enough to distinguish between adjacent disciplines and ask intelligent questions about a candidate's experience.
You can quickly learn different operational functions and translate business needs into an effective recruiting strategy.
You can move between specialized searches and broader business priorities without allowing candidates, hiring managers, or follow-ups to fall through the cracks.
And you are comfortable working within an established recruiting process where Greenhouse accuracy, candidate communication, interview documentation, and accountability matter.
Our Talent Acquisition Environment
Talent Acquisition at TogetherWork operates as a business partner, not an administrative function.
Our recruiters are expected to bring structure to the hiring process, advise hiring leaders, maintain momentum, identify risk, use data, and take ownership of their searches.
Greenhouse is our system of record, and consistent execution matters.
TogetherWork is a SaaS organization supporting a diverse portfolio of businesses and customer communities. Our recruiters must be able to quickly understand different businesses, functional areas, candidate markets, and hiring needs while maintaining a consistent standard of recruiting excellence.
Our Hiring Process
We are running an accelerated selection process because we are looking to have someone join the team quickly.
Candidates selected to move forward will be asked to complete a Spark Hire one-way video interview. This allows our Talent Acquisition team to evaluate candidates efficiently while giving candidates the opportunity to share more about their experience beyond what is captured on a resume.
Candidates advancing beyond the Spark Hire stage will participate in additional interviews with the Talent Acquisition leadership team.
Participation in TogetherWork's required candidate assessments is also part of the selection process.
Because of the immediate business need, candidates should be prepared to begin the contract assignment within two weeks of accepting an offer.
Inclusion and Diversity
TogetherWork is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. We value diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, age, national origin, or any other protected classification under applicable law.
