ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates part data change proposals, tool process plan, and rough layout using Catia and Autoform Simulation.
- Reports technical criteria to Category Technical Expert and New Model Project Leadership.
- Supports the development of new model stamping tooling specifications and process plan from 1st drawing to Die GO.
- Performs feasibility checks and simulations using Autoform and Catia on product and styling data to ensure parts are formable and manufacturable.
- Completes checks for manufacturing stamping new model equipment verification check list and drawing maturation requirements.
- Supports complex manufacturing category problem analysis, determine root causes, recommend corrective action.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
