Position Overview
We’re looking for a Medical Assistant / Office Manager to join our Jericho team. This is a dual role for someone who is comfortable with hands-on clinical work and also enjoys keeping an office organized and running smoothly. You’ll support our providers and patients while managing day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
Room patients, take vital signs, and update medical histories in the EMR
Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
Collect and process lab specimens and track results
Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for patients
Support care coordination with our partner senior care facilities
Office Management
Oversee daily office operations and patient flow
Manage provider schedules, appointments, and office communications
Order and track medical and office supplies
Maintain accurate records and support billing and documentation as needed
Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and HIPAA
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) or associate degree in Medical Assisting preferred
Medical Assistant experience preferred; office management or healthcare administration experience a plus
Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to lead and keep things moving
Clear, professional communication with patients, providers, and facility staff
Phlebotomy experience a plus
Experience in geriatrics or post-acute care a plus
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, on-site in Jericho, NY
