Job Overview

Join our care team as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, supporting patients through thoughtful assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and med management. You’ll be joining a team of over 55 therapists with 7 locations in Utah and Salt Lake Counties.

Duties

• Conduct patient intake, mental health assessments, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations; document findings in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations, and apply psychopharmacology principles.
• Provide patient care through in-person visits and telehealth, including follow-up.
• Your impact: Timely assessment and coordinated treatment help patients access appropriate behavioral health support and maintain continuity of care.

Requirements

• Required: Current nurse practitioner licensure and psychiatric mental health credentials appropriate to the role and jurisdiction; knowledge of nursing, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, patient assessment, and HIPAA.
• Required: Strong client communication, medical documentation, medication administration, and prescribing practices consistent with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations.
• Preferred: Psychiatry, behavioral health, primary care, clinic, hospital, inpatient, outpatient, or telehealth experience; experience with children, older adults, or individuals with disabilities.
• Preferred: Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems; ICD-9, ICD-10, ICD coding, CPT coding, and NCQA standards.

This job can be at any of our 7 locations.

Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
