NP Jobs in Plano: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a np job in Plano?
The strongest path into Plano's np market is targeting the health systems, large multispecialty practices, and urgent care groups concentrated in the Legacy Business District and along the US-75 and Dallas North Tollway corridors. Candidates with primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine experience move fastest here. Highlighting any familiarity with Epic or MEDITECH, and experience in high-volume outpatient settings, gives a clear edge in Plano's competitive market.
Which companies hire nps in Plano?
Employers hiring nps in Plano right now include Medical City Healthcare, Gentiva, and Texas Oncology, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Plano's employer mix leans heavily toward large regional health systems, well-funded multispecialty group practices, and national urgent care chains with significant Collin County footprints.
Are there remote np jobs in Plano?
Yes, though remote np work is limited by nature since most roles require direct patient contact. About 0% of np openings tied to Plano are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, covering telehealth consultation and care management roles rather than primary or procedural care. Telehealth-focused employers and chronic disease management programs in Plano are the most likely source of those remote openings.
How can I get a np job in Plano with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Plano is targeting new-graduate or residency-friendly positions at larger health systems and urgent care chains in the Legacy corridor, which tend to have structured onboarding and preceptorship support. Plano's robust urgent care market also regularly hires new graduates for high-volume, protocol-driven roles that build foundational experience quickly. Completing clinical rotations at Collin County facilities and expressing flexibility across shifts or specialties strengthens a new-graduate application considerably.
