Amentum is seeking an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manager for multiple OCONUS locations contingent upon award. The Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational, maintenance, and repair activities of global life support services. The position ensures the optimal functioning of facilities by implementing effective management systems and processes. The O&M Manager plays a critical role in maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance with organizational standards and requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to O&M teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
Work Requests and Management: Receive, record, and manage all Operations, Maintenance, and Repair (OM&R) work requests using the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Program Execution: Develop and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs, ensuring timely and effective maintenance activities.
Scheduling and Prioritization: Maintain and prioritize schedules for OM&R and PM programs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and task completion.
Performance Measurement: Initiate and manage "best practices" and process improvements, measuring work performance against established goals and standards.
Communication: Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration across functions.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Educational Qualifications: High school diploma, vocational school, or trade school diploma.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a leadership role supporting global life support services.

Technical Skills:
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
Ability to grasp work management systems and reporting using applicable applications related to the work.
Security Clearance: Required clearances are site-driven. Candidates must possess a SECRET security clearance at the start of the contract and obtain the appropriate clearance within eight (8) months of contract award.
Work Environment: The role requires working in various environments, which may include office settings and on-site locations. The manager must adapt to different working conditions and manage operations effectively.
Physical Demands: This position may require physical activities such as walking, standing, and handling equipment. The ability to perform these activities safely and efficiently is essential.
Mental Demands: The role involves complex problem-solving, decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The manager must maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure, ensuring high-quality service delivery
