Completing a business administration, supply chain, or operations management degree strengthens candidacy, and certifications such as APICS CSCP or Six Sigma credentials are recognized across California's logistics and tech sectors.

Which California cities have the most operations team lead jobs?
San Diego, Los Angeles, and Marina have the most operations team lead openings in California. Los Angeles and the Bay Area drive volume through their logistics corridors, tech campuses, and healthcare networks, while San Diego's mix of biotech, defense operations, and retail distribution keeps steady demand for operations leads across the county.

About 0% of operations team lead openings tied to California are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with remote roles more prevalent in technology operations, e-commerce back-office coordination, and customer operations functions.
How can I get hired as a operations team lead in California with little or no experience?
