Entry Level Pediatric Cardiologist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level pediatric cardiologist job?
Completing a pediatric cardiology fellowship is the essential foundation, and employers at this level place significant weight on hands-on clinical rotations, research contributions, and board certification progress. Highlighting any experience with echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, or electrophysiology during training gives you an edge. A strong letter of recommendation from a supervising cardiologist and demonstrated familiarity with pediatric patient care protocols round out a competitive application.
Which companies hire entry level pediatric cardiologists?
Companies hiring entry level pediatric cardiologists right now include Oregon Health & Science University, Hackensack Meridian Health, and Inova Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from children's hospitals, academic medical centers, and large pediatric specialty group practices that have the infrastructure to onboard and mentor early-career physicians.
Are there remote entry level pediatric cardiologist jobs?
Yes, though the majority of positions require in-person patient care. About 0% of entry level pediatric cardiologist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those tend to involve telehealth consultations, remote diagnostic review, or administrative roles within pediatric cardiology programs rather than full clinical duties.
Are these new grad pediatric cardiologist jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior pediatric cardiologist roles. A posting is generally new-grad friendly when it welcomes candidates with zero to two years of post-fellowship experience, accepts internship or residency training in place of independent experience, or explicitly invites applicants who are completing board certification, making them accessible to physicians entering independent practice for the first time.
Which industries hire the most entry level pediatric cardiologists?
Entry Level pediatric cardiologist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Non-Profit & Social Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they operate dedicated pediatric departments, fund research and training programs, and carry the patient volume that justifies bringing on early-career specialists.
