Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Multiple Sign On Bonus Options!
$5,000 - 1 year work commitment
$10,000 - 2 year work commitment
$20,000 - 3 year work commitment (Internal Mission Partners not eligible)

Position Summary: The Physical Therapist assists patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
Those licensed after 2016 must have a Doctoral degree. Those who were licensed prior to 2016 are exempt from this requirement as grandfathered under prior IDFPR or MBPT requirement for licensure (which allowed bachelor’s/master’s degree; the normal industry requirement prior to 2016).
Licenses/Certifications:
- Respective state license in Physical Therapy or has graduated successfully from a professional program, is in receipt of Authorization to Test Letter, is scheduled to test within 60 days of eligibility, and has not failed the licensure exam. After passing licensure exam, state license must be verifiable within one year of hire.
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid state driver’s license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract.
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.
- Analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.
