Who's Hiring

Physical Therapy Assistant Jobs in Arlington: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a physical therapy assistant job in Arlington?
The strongest opportunities in Arlington are concentrated in outpatient orthopedic clinics, sports rehabilitation centers near AT&T Stadium, and the network of hospital-affiliated facilities anchored by Texas Health Arlington Memorial and Medical City Arlington. Candidates with hands-on clinical hours, a current Texas PTA license, and experience in orthopedic or sports rehab consistently stand out in this market. Applying directly to health system-affiliated clinics rather than staffing agencies gives you the fastest path to a permanent role.
Which companies hire physical therapy assistants in Arlington?
Companies currently hiring physical therapy assistants in Arlington include Texas Rehabilitation Hospitals, Dorn, and Aveanna Healthcare, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Arlington's mix of major hospital systems, outpatient orthopedic groups, and senior care networks means openings appear across both large health employers and independently owned rehabilitation clinics.
Are there remote physical therapy assistant jobs in Arlington?
Yes, but with significant limitations, since physical therapy assistant work is almost entirely hands-on and requires direct patient contact. About 0% of physical therapy assistant openings tied to Arlington are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those positions typically involve documentation review, care coordination, or administrative support rather than direct patient treatment.
How can I get a physical therapy assistant job in Arlington with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Arlington is securing a clinical technician or rehabilitation aide role at one of the city's outpatient orthopedic clinics or hospital-based rehab departments, which regularly hire candidates with an associate degree in physical therapist assisting and completed clinical rotations. Texas Health Resources and Medical City Arlington both hire entry-level PTA graduates into structured mentorship environments. Completing your clinical hours at an Arlington facility gives you a direct relationship with local hiring managers before you even graduate.
