Entry Level Pricing Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level pricing analyst job?
Entry level pricing analyst roles look for candidates who can demonstrate comfort with data and spreadsheet tools, so highlight any coursework, internships, or projects involving Excel, SQL, or basic financial modeling. A degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field helps, but showing you can analyze a pricing problem and communicate findings clearly is what moves a new grad resume to the top of the stack.
Which companies hire entry level pricing analysts?
Companies hiring entry level pricing analysts right now include The Hartford, Citi, and TriNet, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including large retailers, consumer goods companies, financial services firms, and technology businesses that run dedicated pricing or revenue management teams.
Are there remote entry level pricing analyst jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles remain common at this stage. About 28% of entry level pricing analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so fully remote positions exist but are not the majority. Candidates open to on-site or hybrid arrangements will see a broader set of opportunities, particularly with employers who prefer in-office collaboration for junior hires.
Are these new grad pricing analyst jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior pricing analyst roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or academic projects in place of full-time history, or asks for a portfolio of analytical work rather than a long employment record. Filtering for those signals quickly separates roles built for early-career candidates from ones expecting several years on the job.
Which industries hire the most entry level pricing analysts?
Entry Level pricing analyst roles concentrate in Retail, Technology & Software, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive hiring at this level because they manage large product catalogs, frequent price changes, or competitive market conditions that require dedicated analysts to support pricing decisions even at the junior end of the team.
