General Job Description
- Customer, Subcontractor & Employee Relationship Management & Communication
- Ensure the safety & welfare of all employees reporting to this position.
- Assist estimators & department leads with document sharing & communication with vendors and subcontractors and confirm and track deadlines.
- Keep phone calls, emails & correspondence daily.
- Develop Equipment & Submittal Logs: Manage Shop Drawings from Order, Approval & Release from vendors and subcontractors and issue purchase orders contingent on the approval of shops. Review received materials for completeness & report deficiencies to vendors.
- Assist in preparing & communicating job schedules for the project and assist in PM II coordination of material delivery, labor needs and other trades on the project.
- Assign and manage tasks needed by Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators & Vendors needed for equipment procurement, change order pricing, or any requested information on projects.
- Prepare job site information packets to include: print, specifications, shop drawings, project schedule, copies of all purchase orders and meeting notes. Maintain current and updated information in Procore.
- Minimally weekly job site visits to ensure project is running on schedule and maintain contact and coordination with other trades and owners and communicate with project foreman on budget variances, issues, needs and progress. This is imperative to maintain communication and project efficiency.
- Work with BIM Teams, Superintendents & Prefab Team on Look ahead schedules, fabrication schedules and site logistics. Primary Communications Lead and sharing committed tasks and deadlines and reporting past commitments & deadlines.
- Review & report weekly job cost reports to verify that the project is running as scheduled and to anticipate any problem areas or concerns.
- Attend job site meetings as requested to maintain that you are a primary contact for all aspects of the project.
- Organize and assemble all needed documentation and pricing from all impacted parties needed to prepare and negotiate change orders. Prepare all RFP’s, RFI’s and change orders from budget to completion as per Selid Mechanical standards or project specifications.
- Communicate project budgets through office administration for change orders or contract changes.
- Communicate job meeting notes to Selid Mechanical Staff & subcontractors and vendors so that all is informed.
- Assist Project Manager II and accounting in billing preparation for accurate billing and cost allocation.
- Prepare final O&M submittals for materials and equipment to submit for final project close out.
- At the completion of the project, work with the project foreman to prepare Asbuilts/Red Lines and incorporate all change orders to be submitted to the owner/engineer.
- Ensure all punch list items are completed as per the engineers/owners list.
- Assist Field Superintendent & Forman with Informational Needs
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

- All tasks described above are performed properly and in accordance to company policy
- Goals mutually set are well under progress or completed.
Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
