GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
To provide support to the Production Control Analyst by expediting purchased and manufactured parts needed by production teams to meet the Master Production Schedule.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist Production Control Analysts to meet program needs.
- Maintain Production Control Dashboards.
- Tracks purchased and manufactured materials to maintain program schedule requirement.
- Assist Spares Team as needed to expedite manufacturing of spare parts.
- Recommend continuous improvements.
- Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Experience and Skills:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary.
- Ability to adhere to workplace rules.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1 to 2 years production control experience or experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in use of MS Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Office environment.
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
