Shift:
The regular hours for this position are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday from 5:00am to 5:30pm.
Job Description:
The Production Test Technician II performs advanced electrical and RF testing in support of probe test products. This role is responsible for high-frequency response testing, RF profiling, and tester operation for core and custom PCB products. The technician serves as a subject matter expert in testing processes, supports production priorities, drives yield and output improvements, and trains other technicians on test methodologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-frequency response testing for probe test products, including testing cores and custom PCB board designs and configurations.
- Conduct RF response profiling for core and PCB products, including inductance measurement, frequency response analysis, reflectance, and length matching.
- Integrate and validate electronic components as part of the testing process.
- Perform all technical duties of Production Test Technician I and II as required to support production needs.
- Attain expert-level proficiency with test systems and serve as a trainer and mentor for other technicians on testing processes and methodologies.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to increase throughput, improve yield, and enhance overall test efficiency.
- Manage prioritization and execution of testing activities to maximize output based on product runs, test processes, and customer or internal due dates.
- Monitor quality metrics within test areas and proactively address assembly quality issues, trends, and recurring defects.
- Read and interpret assembly documentation, including Bills of Material (BOMs), schematics, and detailed assembly instructions.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations, including tolerance stack-up summations, to support testing and analysis.
- Collect, organize, analyze, and evaluate Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to support quality and process stability.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized test and measurement equipment according to documented procedures.
- Safely handle chemicals such as solvents and adhesives in compliance with all safety rules, procedures, and environmental requirements.
Work Environment:
- Ability to work continuously in a cleanroom environment with chemicals while wearing protective clothing (smock, hairnet, gloves, etc.).
- Ability to work at a microscope for extended periods, up to 80% of a shift, depending on the assigned workstation.
- Ability to read work instructions and perform both written and computer-based documentation.
- Ability to push or pull up to 10–15 lbs and routinely lift materials weighing up to 6 lbs.

Pay Range:
$18.80 - $24.68
Pay Range Explained:
This role in Beaverton, Oregon pays between $18.80 and $24.68 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You’ll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
