Requisition ID: 77813
Job Description:
Are you looking to take the next step in advancing your career in the world of transceiver technology? Skyworks is seeking a strong technical leader to help innovate and develop wireless SOCs for gaming headsets, mice, and keyboards along with music production, sound bars, and other audio applications.
For today’s gamers, latency is a killer. A few extra milliseconds can make all the difference in the ultra-competitive nature of modern games. Professional gamers, DJs, and musicians often use wired headsets rather than suffer the added 20 to 50 ms of latency that occurs in most of today’s wireless headsets. Our proprietary solution, known as UL2X, removes this limitation by providing outstanding signal quality with uncompressed audio and as little as 8ms latency. The UL2X link is extremely robust and utilizes a reluctant-hopper approach to find the optimal slot in the 2.4 GHz band, allowing excellent coexistence with other wireless signals from Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi® enabled devices.
We are a passionate and dedicated team of world-class analog, mixed-signal, and digital design engineers committed to building the next generation of wireless and audio SOCs. This position is for an experienced and equally passionate analog and mixed-signal engineer/manager interested in excellent personal and professional growth opportunities.
This is an on-site position in Hillsboro, OR.
