- Assist instructors and staff: Orient new instructors to College policies and procedures, train staff on semester course offerings, and coordinate instructional materials, supplies, textbooks, and equipment.
- Develop relevant course offerings: Create clear, accurate course descriptions and help develop programs that reflect community interests and learning needs.
- Promote programs and enrollment: Develop marketing plans and conduct campaigns to increase program awareness and student participation.
- Maintain records and monitor quality: Verify fee payment before classes begin, distribute rosters and attendance forms, review student evaluations, monitor instructor performance, and maintain program records.
- Supervise departmental initiatives: Plan, assign, and supervise staff work to support accurate information and responsive service to the community.
- Knowledge of college organization, goals, policies, and procedures, along with office management principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with personal computers and related software applications.
- Ability to analyze and interpret business publications, technical procedures, regulations, and instructions presented in various formats.
- Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and present information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Ability to solve practical problems, manage competing priorities, plan, assign, and supervise work.
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and members of a diverse community.
