About the Role

Vlore POS & Foods is looking for a talented, organized Graphic Designer & Creative Project Supervisor to help create outstanding work for our customers and keep our creative projects moving from start to finish.

We design restaurant menus, websites, marketing materials, and other branded content for our customers and outside businesses. This role combines hands-on graphic design with supervising other designers, communicating with customers, and coordinating projects across our team.

The right person can design a polished restaurant menu, explain ideas clearly to a customer, give useful feedback to a designer, and make sure every project is completed accurately and on time.

What You’ll Do

Graphic Design & Production

• Design and update restaurant menus, promotional flyers, brochures, business cards, signage, product labels, and digital marketing materials.
• Create website layouts and coordinate website builds, updates, and content changes.
• Prepare professional, print-ready files with correct dimensions, resolution, bleeds, and color settings.
• Edit food and product photography and maintain consistent branding across print and digital materials.
• Review pricing, spelling, layout, customer instructions, and final artwork before customer approval and production.

Team Supervision & Project Management

• Assign projects, set priorities, establish deadlines, and follow up with designers and other team members.
• Manage multiple customer projects from the initial request through revisions, approval, and final delivery.
• Maintain an organized workflow with clear project status, responsibilities, files, and next steps.
• Review other designers’ work, provide constructive feedback, and help improve quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with our project management team, website team, printers, and outside vendors.
• Identify delays or missing information early and take action to keep projects moving.

Customer & Team Communication

• Speak directly with customers to understand their goals, collect content, clarify requests, and explain design options.
• Communicate professionally by phone, email, video calls, and project management platforms.
• Keep customers and employees informed about progress, revisions, approvals, and deadlines.
• Document customer feedback clearly so the team knows exactly what needs to be done.
• Build positive working relationships and take ownership of completing projects.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong portfolio showing professional graphic design, layout, typography, and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, with working knowledge of the broader Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• Experience designing menus, multipage documents, marketing materials, or other content-heavy layouts.
• Experience supervising designers, leading creative projects, or coordinating work across a team.
• Strong organization and the ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
• Knowledge of print production, file preparation, and quality control.
• Familiarity with website design, mobile-friendly layouts, and website content management.
• Comfort using project management tools and maintaining organized digital files.
• Ability to work from our Rapids City, Illinois office.

Helpful Experience

• Restaurant, hospitality, food, or retail design.
• WordPress, Wix, Webflow, or similar website platforms.
• Pipedrive Projects, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, Trello, or similar workflow tools.
• Photography, video editing, motion graphics, or digital signage.
• Managing a mix of local and remote team members.

What Success Looks Like

Customers receive professional designs, clear communication, and dependable follow-through. Designers understand their assignments and deadlines. Projects stay organized, revisions are handled accurately, and approved work is ready for printing or publishing.
