JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, FL, invites applications for an academic Molecular and Quantitative Pathologist.
We have over 1100 beds in the system and growing! Primary service responsibilities include sign-out of a broad scope of molecular diagnostic tests including NGS panels, quantitative pathology sign-out, new test development, supporting the work of the molecular laboratory. The successful applicant will contribute to medical student, resident and fellowship training in accredited programs within Pathology. Scholarly study and investigation in the applicant's area of interest is expected.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. degree, board certification in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP, and possess or be eligible for a Florida Medical license.
PREFERRED:
A molecular genetic pathology certification is preferred.
