How do I get a real estate job in Irving?
Focus on Las Colinas, which hosts a dense concentration of corporate campuses, REITs, and commercial property firms that hire regularly for leasing, asset management, and brokerage roles. Property management companies tied to Irving's large apartment and mixed-use developments are another consistent source of openings. Candidates who can demonstrate familiarity with the DFW commercial market and hold an active Texas license move to the top of the list fastest.

Are there remote real estate jobs in Irving?
Yes, though with limits: hands-on roles like leasing agent, property inspector, and on-site manager are almost entirely in-person, while roles in real estate analysis, transaction coordination, and marketing skew hybrid or remote. About 67% of real estate openings tied to Irving are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. The most remote-friendly positions in Irving tend to sit inside corporate real estate departments rather than traditional brokerage offices.
How can I get a real estate job in Irving with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Irving is a leasing consultant role with one of the many apartment communities in the Valley Ranch or Las Colinas area, which routinely hire candidates without prior real estate experience and provide on-the-job training. Corporate real estate coordinators at Irving's major headquarters employers are another accessible entry path. Pursuing your Texas Salesperson license while working in a support role significantly accelerates the move into higher-level positions locally.
