Real Estate Manager Jobs

Don Harkins Realty and Sea Dog Property Management are looking for one organized, dependable person to run the day to day of a small but busy real estate operation in Orlando, FL, headquartered in College Park, but with operations spanning from Clermont to Melbourne and everywhere in between. We manage rental homes, sell homes, and originate mortgages, and we need a right hand who can handle all three sides without needing to be told twice.

This is a full time, in person role, 40 hours a week, based in College Park with regular travel to properties around Central Florida and The Space Coast.

Property Management

You'll be the person who keeps our rental portfolio running. That means scheduling and performing move in, move out and periodic property inspections, documenting condition with photos and reports, and following up on anything that needs attention. You'll coordinate vendors for repairs and maintenance, get quotes, schedule the work, confirm it was done right, and keep owners and tenants informed along the way. You'll also handle tenant communication, maintenance requests, lease renewals and notices, and help with showings and leasing when needed.

Accounting, Disbursements and Reporting

This role is just as much about the numbers as it is about the properties. You'll work to record rent and deposits, pay vendor bills, reconcile bank accounts each month, prepare and send owner disbursements, and produce monthly owner statements and year end reports. You'll keep the books clean and catch problems before they become problems. If you've done bookkeeping, bank reconciliations or trust accounting before, that experience will matter here.

Real Estate Sales Support

On the brokerage side you'll help keep transactions moving. That includes preparing listing and contract paperwork, scheduling showings and inspections, tracking deadlines, coordinating with title companies, lenders, inspectors and other agents, and keeping our CRM and marketing up to date. A Florida real estate license is a plus but not required to start.

Mortgage Support

You'll also assist with our mortgage business by gathering borrower documents, organizing loan files, tracking conditions, following up with borrowers and processors, and keeping everything moving toward closing.

What We're Looking For

Someone who is organized to a fault and comfortable juggling a lot of small moving pieces at once. Strong written and phone communication, since you'll talk with owners, tenants, vendors, buyers and borrowers every day. Comfortable with technology, including Google Workspace, and able to learn new software quickly. Experience with AppFolio, QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a strong plus. Experience in property management, real estate, mortgage or bookkeeping is a strong plus. A valid Florida driver's license, reliable vehicle and willingness to drive to properties is required. Trustworthy with money and confidential information.
