Real Estate Manager Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a real estate manager job in Atlanta?
Focus on Atlanta's commercial corridors and mixed-use development hubs, where REITs, corporate real estate departments, and property management firms do the most consistent hiring. Candidates with experience managing Class A office or multifamily assets in dense urban markets stand out locally. Familiarity with Atlanta's growth neighborhoods, Midtown, West Midtown, and Old Fourth Ward, signals market awareness that generalist applicants typically lack.
Which companies hire real estate managers in Atlanta?
Companies currently hiring real estate managers in Atlanta include Chatel, Regions Bank, and Truist, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Atlanta draws a mix of national REITs, regional developers, corporate occupiers managing large office footprints, and institutional property management firms serving the city's fast-growing residential and mixed-use sectors.
Are there remote real estate manager jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though it depends heavily on the role, since hands-on property oversight requires on-site presence while asset management, lease administration, and portfolio analysis work is more remote-friendly. About 50% of real estate manager openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of August 2026. Analytical and corporate real estate roles at Atlanta's headquartered firms offer the most flexibility for off-site work.
How can I get a real estate manager job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is through property management assistant or leasing coordinator roles at multifamily or commercial property management companies, which are hiring steadily across Buckhead and the Perimeter. Atlanta's large corporate real estate departments also bring in coordinators who grow into manager roles. Getting Georgia real estate licensed, even before landing your first manager title, makes you a stronger candidate at locally based firms.
Which industries hire the most real estate managers in Atlanta?
Atlanta real estate manager roles concentrate in Banking & Financial Services, Education, and Human Resources, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Atlanta's position as a major logistics hub, corporate headquarters city, and one of the Southeast's fastest-growing residential markets keeps demand across these sectors consistently active.
