- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year talent acquisition/human resources experience required.
- Highly proficient using technology; proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

- Is able to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in the English language; has the ability to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the essential functions of the position can be fully met.
- Is able to relate to and deal tactfully with team members across multiple processes, have strong interpersonal skills and maintain good working relationships with team members, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
- Ability to influence others and overcome roadblocks using creative problem solving skills
- Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, highly organized, able to handle multiple priorities and to work independently.
- Moves packages and supplies weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to transport self to various ERS locations.
- Must be fully up to date with required vaccinations.
- Supports high-quality and timely hiring goals through a multi-channel recruiting approach that includes promoting ERS as a Top Workplace, referral programs, social media, networking resources, job fairs, colleges and universities, military events, and industry-specific avenues.
- Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with ERS hiring managers by keeping abreast of their unique hiring needs, meeting/communicating regularly, and delivering a high level of customer service.
- Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with candidates through the TA process to foster a positive candidate experience and keep them highly engaged throughout the process.
- Critically reviews a high volume of applications and resumes, forwards qualified candidates to hiring managers, as needed, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), coordinates and interprets pre-employment assessments, and advises on hiring decisions.
- Coordinates the completion of the new hire process for all newly hired team members, assists new hires with questions, and ensures a warm welcome to ERS.
- In partnership with the TA team, manages the internal application process.
- In partnership with the TA team, coordinates, cultivates, and markets the EARN MORE employee referral program.
- Communicates career opportunities to ERS team members weekly.
- Reviews job description content with hiring managers for accurate content and position requirements.
- Assists with employee relations, including, but not limited to, providing requested forms, answering inquiries from staff as needed, actively listening to employees’ concerns, assisting with workers’ compensation, benefits, and compliance issues, and assisting with staff recognition programs.
- Actively seeks to build relationships and delivers superior customer service to all ERS team members, residents, vendors, and visitors.
- Develops awareness of senior living and senior services industry
