Cross Plains Dental is seeking a registered dental hygienist to join our team. The position would be for 2-3 days per week, Monday-Thursday (no Fridays or weekends). We are pretty flexible with scheduling and you could pick which days you would like to work.
Responsibilities:
- Dental cleanings, sealants and fluoride
- Take dental x rays
- Assess patients' oral health and report findings to dentists
- Document patient care and treatment plans
- Room turnover and sterilization
- Help patients to maintain their oral health by preventing and treating periodontal disease and promoting good oral health
Qualifications:
- Active dental hygiene license or eligibility for licensure (we encourage new graduates to apply)
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a friendly personality
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Passionate about providing excellent care and improving patient experiences
- Proficient in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience with general dentistry practices
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols
- Knowledge of Dentrix preferred, but will train
- Understanding of pediatric dentistry and endodontics
- Ability to perform vital signs monitoring and medical imaging
- Awareness of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
A little about our office - we are a small, family owned practice on the outskirts of Madison. We focus on patient care first and foremost. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Our summer hours are Monday-Wednesday 8:00 am-4:30-pm and Thursdays 7:00 am-1:00 pm. We are closed for a week over the 4th of July and the week between Christmas and New Year's. We have a very upbeat and fun atmosphere.
Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
