Position Overview
Are you an ambitious, high-energy sales professional who thrives on the phone and loves building relationships from the ground up? HOMEstretch is looking for a proactive Business Development Specialist to pioneer and expand our presence in the local market.
This role begins with a heavy focus on inside sales—conducting outbound cold calls, introducing our game-changing services to top real estate agents, and booking office presentations. As you master the industry and hit your performance milestones, this role will rapidly transition into an Outside Sales position, where you will lead face-to-face consultations, command brokerage presentations, and manage high-level realtor networks.
Why You’ll Love This Role
- Ground-Floor Opportunity: Work directly with the ownership team to shape and scale a rapidly emerging market.
- Clear Growth Trait: Clear path to transition from inside prospecting to field-based relationship management and outside sales execution.
- Frictionless Solution: You are introducing realtors to an "easy button" value proposition that costs them absolutely nothing but dramatically amplifies their listing power.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Outbound Prospecting: Dedicate high-volume blocks of time to cold calling and introducing HOMEstretch to real estate agents and brokerages.
- Pipeline Management: Organize, track, and manage your agent prospective lists using our centralized CRM.
- Book Strategic Presentations: Secure presentation slots at real estate sales meetings to educate entire offices on our value proposition.
- Transition to the Field (Outside Track): Progress to attending open houses, executing on-site customer consultations, and delivering face-to-face meet-and-greets to lock in deals.
- Incorporate Sales Tech: Leverage modern outreach platforms to maximize daily dialing efficiency and volume management.
What We’re Looking For
- A Natural Relationship Builder: An empathetic, hyper-disciplined, and naturally extroverted "people person" who handles rejection with a smile.
- Phone Warrior: Absolute comfort making high-volume outbound cold calls and capturing an agent’s attention within the first 30 seconds.
- Growth Mindset: A self-starter eager to master inside prospecting to earn a fast-tracked promotion into field sales.
- Exceptional Communication: Punctual, articulate, and lightning-fast when responding to clients via phone, text, or email.
- Startup Agility: Comfortable in a high-growth environment where initiative, problem-solving, and a bias toward action are richly rewarded.
Position Requirements
- Proven track record in inside sales, cold calling, or customer-facing roles.
- Knowledge of or strong eagerness to learn about home preparation services, buyer psychology, and cosmetic property updates.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for eventual field deployment.
- Real Estate License Restriction: Active real estate license holders are strictly prohibited from working with HOMEstretch. Any candidate with a real estate background must formally escrow their license prior to employment to eliminate conflicts of interest with our referral partners.
Compensation & Perks
- Starting Salary: $50,000 to 60,000 annually; this is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.
- Growth Potential: Opportunity to grow into Outside Sales position
- Benefits: 401K savings plan, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Holiday pay.
Schedule & Location
- Work Model: Initially work from home with growth opportunities to frequent field visits for property consultations and presentations.
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am–5 pm; some evenings or weekends may be required based on needs.

Tips for Your Remote Business To Business Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote business to business openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly without sorting through postings mixed with on-site work.
Prove async communication before the interview
Remote business to business employers screen for written clarity as a core skill. Send a concise, well-structured follow-up email after every application touch to demonstrate the async communication style distributed teams depend on daily.
Document your pipeline management process
Remote hiring managers can't watch you work, so show your process explicitly. Include your CRM of choice, how you stage deals, and how you track follow-ups in your resume or a short written portfolio piece alongside your metrics.
Signal self-direction during remote interviews
Use video interviews to walk through a real deal you managed start to finish without manager input. Remote business to business teams want evidence you can prioritize accounts, handle objections, and close independently across time zones.
Remote Business To Business Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote business to business job?
Target remote-first companies and distributed sales teams that already run their business to business operations without a physical office. Remote employers screen for self-direction, strong written communication, and the ability to manage a pipeline asynchronously. Demonstrating CRM proficiency, a history of hitting quotas independently, and clear async communication habits gives you a concrete edge over candidates without remote experience.
Which companies hire remote business to businesss?
Employers currently hiring remote business to businesss include Raytheon, Pratt & Whitney, and WD, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Remote-first SaaS companies, distributed fintech firms, and professional services organizations in particular rely on remote business to business teams to manage accounts and close deals across time zones.
Can you get a remote business to business job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level business to business roles are harder to land because employers expect you to work independently from day one without in-office coaching. Your strongest path in is through remote-first startups and small SaaS companies that take on junior account associates. Showing a completed online sales certification, a cold outreach project, or any measurable result from freelance or internship work substitutes meaningfully for full-time experience.
Do you need a degree for remote business to business jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers weigh demonstrated sales results, CRM experience, and communication skills over a formal degree when hiring for business to business roles. A strong pipeline of closed deals, verifiable quota attainment, or a portfolio of written client communications can carry more weight than a diploma, especially at remote-first companies that evaluate candidates on output rather than credentials.
Which industries hire the most remote business to businesss?
Most remote business to business openings sit in Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, and Science & Research, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors hire business to businesss remotely because their sales cycles, customer relationships, and account management workflows run entirely through digital tools and do not require a shared physical office.
