Executive Assistant w/ Marketing & Client Relationship Experience
Please read the entire job description. Application instructions are at the bottom.
Who we are:
- We are a group of hard core problem solving, custom code hacking, status-quo bucking, out-of-the-box thinking, genius digital gangsters breaking out the creative solutions with a vengeance and the passion of a thousand suns (covered in Tabasco sauce)…
- We have a small team of rock stars, all committed to working hard to make sure our clients have an unforgettable experience.
What we’re looking for:
- We need a new Executive Assistant. This person would be responsible for helping create & schedule our social media content & online marketing campaigns. Designing emails, flyers, running contests & giveaways. Also assisting with engagement, replying to customer inquiries through multiple platforms (email, text, Facebook etc..).
- We’re also looking for someone that can work with our virtual staff, properly delegating projects to the correct department and keeping track of deadlines so that our marketing goes out in a timely manner.
- Lastly, this person would help with managing the backend logistics of events that we participate in. This would include booking travel (airfare, hotel etc..) for the team, researching new events, contacting venues etc..
This is a remote (work from home) position.
Salary & growth opportunities:
- Remote Marketing & Client Relationship Assistant starts at $22 per hour.
- You’ll work under the owner as you learn the trade
- You’ll be assigned projects slowly as we begin to build your confidence
- You’ll be graded on your timeliness, quality of work and campaign performance
- Once you are managing a full slate (we have an algorithm to determine a full slate based on the bandwidth of the projects you’re working on) you will be promoted to a full Client Manager
- Growth opportunities
- Strong opportunity for growth for Client Managers who take on additional projects past a full slate.
The ideal candidate:
- Canva: Create visually appealing designs for various marketing and communication initiatives using Canva. Develop design concepts, graphics, and layouts based on business and marketing goals. Work with copywriters to ensure designs effectively communicate key messaging. For any complex project, we delegate to our graphic design company.
- Client management: The core of your job is relationship building. You need to be a person that cares deeply about helping small businesses succeed. That means managing expectations, being clear in your communication, and taking detailed notes on client interactions.
- Marketing Strategy: We try to plan out our sales & marketing campaigns 2-4 months at a time. You would be responsible for scheduling emails, text messages or social media posts to go out to specific client lists or areas to make sure that they stay up to date on local events. You would not be responsible for creating emails, but you would work with our third party graphics design company to create that content.
- Problem solving: The cardinal sin at our company is asking someone a question you could have solved yourself. We need people who are willing to “figure it out” and don’t mind rolling up their sleeves. That doesn’t mean we aren’t here to support you, we are. But only when you encounter a problem that you truly can’t solve. You’re expected to bring more to the table than expected and hurdle problems, not allow them to get in your way.
Successful Executive Assistant personality profile:
Motivated by competition and results. You are likely a skilled, pragmatic enforcer whose focus on achievement and success can help those around you accomplish goals. You speak directly and make decisions quickly. You like to take charge in a situation and explore worthwhile, effective solutions. Your determination and confidence make you a strong leader.
Important personality traits:
- Creative
- Assertive
- Confident
- Direct
What energizes you:
- Taking charge
- Ambitious goals
- Challenges
- Professional growth
- Coming up with new ideas
Make sure…
- Strong English proficiency
- Willing to work a US time zone. PST Preferred.
- Remote working. This is a remote (work from home) position.
- Must own a laptop or computer - Tablets sometimes work but we’ve found that an actual computer is best long term.
- All job offers start with a 60-day trial to make sure that we’re the right fit for each other.
Our values:
Truth: Everything we do requires a commitment to truth as the core principle and foundation of our company. We are data driven marketers, data is truth. If something isn’t working, we tell the client. If we make a mistake, we’re the first to bring it up and we own it. If we don’t know the answer to something, we admit it readily (and then work to figure it out!) If we disagree, we say so. Truth is the first and most important step to solving any problem.
Responsibility: How do we do more? How do we give more? How do we help each other? Responsibility requires us to constantly be looking for opportunities to go further. We don’t try to get out of work, we lean into it. You’ll never hear us say, “That’s not my job.” By being proactive with our skillset we place ourselves in a position to influence the world around us in a way that only those who understand true responsibility ever can.
Heart: It’s not enough to simply do. You also have to care. You have to care about your clients, your team mates, and yourself. You have to work like it matters, like what you’re doing means something. You need to know that you’re making an impact and understand that there are people relying on you to do what’s best for them. In some cases, these people wouldn’t know the difference which makes it even more important. We have been offered a sacred trust in helping people grow their business and so we treat their businesses as our own.

Tips for Your Remote Client Executive Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote client executive openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly without sorting through non-remote listings.
Prove async communication skills upfront
Remote client executive hiring managers read your emails and cover letter as a live sample of how you'll communicate with clients. Write clearly, get to the point fast, and show you can move a conversation forward in writing without a call.
Document client outcomes in concrete terms
Remote employers can't observe your daily work, so your resume has to do it for them. Replace vague responsibilities with retention rates, renewal numbers, or expansion revenue you owned and can speak to in an interview.
Research how the company manages accounts remotely
Before your remote interview, find out whether the team uses Salesforce, HubSpot, or another CRM, and how client check-ins are structured. Asking smart questions about their async workflows signals you already think like a remote operator.
Remote Client Executive Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote client executive job?
Target companies with distributed sales or customer success teams, since those organizations are built to manage client relationships without in-person contact. Remote employers screen hard for written communication, async follow-through, and the ability to manage a book of business independently. A history of meeting retention or revenue targets, documented in your resume with specifics, gives you a clear edge over candidates who list only responsibilities.
Which companies hire remote client executives?
Companies hiring remote client executives right now include DESORT STAFFING, Softheon, and Centivo, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Remote-first SaaS firms, enterprise software companies, and distributed financial services teams make up the largest share of these openings.
Can you get a remote client executive job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level roles are harder to land because you're expected to self-manage from day one without an office around you. Companies that hire entry-level remote client executives tend to be high-growth SaaS or fintech firms with structured onboarding. Showing strong written communication, any client-facing work, and comfort with CRM tools can open the door when direct experience is thin.
Do you need a degree for remote client executive jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers weight demonstrated results, CRM proficiency, and client retention history above formal credentials. A portfolio of closed deals, renewed accounts, or documented revenue contributions often matters more than a degree, particularly at tech companies and remote-first startups where output is the primary measure of performance.
Which industries hire the most remote client executives?
Remote client executive roles concentrate in Insurance, Accounting & Auditing, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors rely on distributed account teams to serve enterprise clients across multiple time zones without requiring on-site presence.
