Z³Energy Pilates | Bergen County, NJ | Part-Time
Z³Energy Pilates is looking for a creative, entrepreneurial, sales-minded fitness professional to help develop and grow a new area of our business.
This is not a traditional front desk or studio sales position. We are looking for someone who can identify opportunities, create targeted specialty fitness programs, build relationships in the community, and turn those ideas into successful revenue-producing programs.
What You'll Do
- Research and develop specialty 6–8 week fitness and Pilates-based programs for specific populations and needs
- Build programs around a defined audience, schedule, frequency, pricing, and enrollment goal
- Identify opportunities to utilize studio hours that are not currently programmed
- Create sales and enrollment strategies for each new program
- Proactively recruit participants through calls, emails, local outreach, partnerships, and community relationships
- Develop relationships with medical and wellness professionals, residential communities, employers, schools, community organizations, and other potential referral partners
- Identify organizations that could participate in or purchase dedicated programs
- Coordinate with qualified Z³Energy instructors to launch approved programs
- Manage programs from concept through enrollment, launch, and completion
- Track enrollment, revenue, participant feedback, and program performance
- Identify successful programs that can be repeated or expanded across our three locations
Potential programs could include women's health and menopause-focused fitness, prenatal programming, senior strength and agility, beginner reformer, mobility and recovery, athletic conditioning, and other specialty concepts based on market demand.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for leads to come in.
The right person will be confident reaching out to people and organizations, building relationships, selling a concept, and following through until a program is successfully launched.
Experience in fitness, wellness, exercise science, program development, sales, business development, community outreach, or a related field is preferred.
Pilates experience is a plus, but reformer certification is not required. This position does not require the coordinator to teach specialty programs. Programs will be taught by appropriately qualified Z³Energy instructors.
You should be:
- Self-directed and comfortable taking ownership of projects
- Confident with outbound sales and relationship building
- Creative about identifying new markets and program opportunities
- Organized enough to take a program from idea to execution
- Comfortable being measured on enrollment, revenue, and results
- Interested in growing with a developing role rather than stepping into a narrowly defined position
Compensation & Growth
Hourly base + commission and performance incentives.
This role is designed to reward results. Additional compensation will be tied directly to specialty program revenue and new business generated through the position.
There is meaningful opportunity for increased earnings, hours, and responsibility as the programs and revenue generated through the role grow.
The position will involve work across our Englewood, Maywood, and Teaneck studios as well as local business and community outreach.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
- Work from home
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Englewood, NJ 07631

Tips for Your Remote Development Coordinator Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote development coordinator openings from across the U.S. in one place. Search roles by sector and apply directly to the ones that match your background. Remote postings fill fast, so applying early puts your application in front of fewer competing candidates.
Demonstrate async communication skills upfront
Remote development coordinators coordinate donor outreach, grant timelines, and reporting cycles almost entirely through written channels. Use your cover letter to show how you communicate complex project status clearly in writing. Employers want proof you can move work forward without real-time check-ins.
Document your CRM and database experience specifically
Name the platforms you've worked in, whether Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, Bloomerang, or another system, and describe what you actually did: data entry, reporting, segmentation, or campaign tracking. Remote hiring managers rely on your resume to gauge technical readiness since they can't observe you on day one.
Prepare for remote-format competency interviews
Remote employers often use structured video interviews with scenario-based questions about independent work and deadline management. Practice describing how you've tracked grant deadlines, managed donor acknowledgment timelines, or flagged reporting gaps without prompting from a supervisor.
Remote Development Coordinator Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote development coordinator job?
Start by targeting organizations that have committed to remote or hybrid work structures, such as national nonprofits, distributed healthcare networks, and remote-first professional services firms. Remote employers screen heavily for written communication, self-direction, and CRM proficiency since you won't have a manager nearby to guide daily workflow. A portfolio of donor reporting, grant tracking, or fundraising campaign results gives you a concrete edge over candidates with similar titles but no documented output.
Which companies hire remote development coordinators?
Companies hiring remote development coordinators right now include Advancio, DBSA, and Rubix, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Remote-first nonprofits, distributed healthcare organizations, and national advocacy groups are among the most consistent hirers of development coordinators in fully remote settings.
Can you get a remote development coordinator job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level roles are harder to land because employers expect you to manage donor databases, grant deadlines, and reporting cycles without daily supervision from day one. Your best path is showing volunteer fundraising work, CRM experience from any context, or a completed grant-writing project. Organizations that run all-remote teams and rely on async workflows are more open to entry-level candidates who demonstrate strong written communication and organizational discipline.
Do you need a degree for remote development coordinator jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers list a bachelor's degree as preferred rather than required, particularly for coordinator-level roles at smaller nonprofits or growing remote teams. What carries real weight is demonstrated experience managing donor records, coordinating fundraising campaigns, or supporting grant cycles, along with proficiency in CRM tools. A strong portfolio of documented results can offset the absence of a formal degree in most remote hiring processes.
