At Jukebox Health, our mission is to empower everyone to live safer, healthier, more independent lives at home. We partner with health plans to make homes safer and more accessible for older adults and high-needs populations. We achieve this by combining technology with networks of clinicians, suppliers, and installers to deliver personalized home modifications and environmental supports nationwide. Founded by experienced entrepreneurs, Jukebox Health is a fast growing healthcare services company backed by top venture capital firms like Valtruis and The Home Depot.
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Construction Operations to build and run the operating rhythm for our Regional Project Manager team. You'll own the metrics, cadence, and accountability structure that ensures every home modification installation across every region meets our timeline, budget, and quality bar. This role exists because consistency at scale doesn't happen by default: it's designed, measured, and enforced. The ideal individual will be comfortable challenging the status quo and creating an environment of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Management & Accountability
- Define and own the KPI framework for Regional Project Managers: on-time completion rate, budget variance, quality inspection pass rate, SLAs, Service Provider network health, client escalation rate
- Run a regular (weekly/monthly) performance review cadence with each Regional PM against those metrics
- Own the documentation trail for performance - what was flagged, what was committed to, what changed
- Serve as the escalation point above Regional PMs for issues that can't be resolved at the regional level
- Represent regional performance data to executive leadership
Team Oversight
- Build and maintain dashboards/reporting that make regional performance visible to leadership without requiring narrative status updates
- Standardize how installations are tracked across regions so performance data is comparable, not just anecdotal
- Manage, coach, and develop the Regional Project Manager team
- Set clear expectations at hire and in onboarding for what "meeting the bar" looks like, tied directly to the KPI framework
Qualifications
- 5+ years managing a distributed field team in construction or home services
- Track record of building KPI frameworks and performance management systems from scratch, not just operating inherited ones
- Direct people management experience
- Comfortable working with data/dashboards to drive decisions, not just gut sense of team performance
- Experience managing teams through change

- Generous company-funding of our health, vision, and dental plans
- HSA plans
- Short and Long-Term Disability
- Life and Personal Accident Insurance
- Hospital Insurance

Tips for Your Remote Operations Manager Job Search
Prove your async communication skills upfront
Remote operations managers run processes through written updates, documentation, and structured check-ins rather than hallway conversations. Include examples in your resume and cover letter of decisions you drove or problems you solved using async tools, because remote employers screen for this before the first interview.
Find remote operations roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate lists remote operations manager openings from employers across the U.S. in one place. Search the current listings to find roles that match your experience level and apply directly to the ones that fit.
Show your systems and process ownership clearly
Remote employers need operations managers who build and document processes independently. Highlight specific systems you designed, workflows you standardized, or tools you implemented, because in a distributed team there's no one watching you work, so your outputs do the talking.
Target remote-first companies in your sector
Companies built as remote-first organizations hire operations managers who fit a distributed culture from day one. Look for employers whose job postings emphasize async workflows, documentation standards, and cross-time-zone coordination, since those signals indicate a team structure where remote operations management is already well-supported.
Remote Operations Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote operations manager job?
Target companies built around distributed teams, where remote operations management is a core function rather than an exception. Remote employers screen for strong written communication, comfort with async workflows, and the ability to drive process improvements without in-person oversight. Candidates who can show measurable results from past remote or cross-functional work, and who are fluent in tools like project management and collaboration software, stand out consistently.
Which companies hire remote operations managers?
Remote operations manager roles are posted by Ryder System, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Nwestco and others right now, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Remote-first technology firms, distributed healthcare platforms, and multi-state logistics and e-commerce companies are among the most active employers for this role.
Can you get a remote operations manager job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level operations roles are harder to land because employers expect you to self-direct from day one without on-site mentorship. Early-career candidates do best by targeting smaller remote-first startups or coordinator-level roles that grow into operations management. Showing that you've managed projects, built processes, or coordinated across teams in any context, even in a non-operations title, opens those doors.
Do you need a degree for remote operations manager jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers weigh demonstrated process ownership, cross-functional coordination experience, and measurable efficiency improvements more heavily than a specific degree. That said, a degree in business, operations, or a related field strengthens applications at larger companies or more structured organizations. Certifications in project management or supply chain can substitute effectively when formal education isn't part of your background.
Which industries hire the most remote operations managers?
The sectors hiring the most remote operations managers are Consulting & Professional Services, Science & Research, and Manufacturing, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These industries rely on distributed teams coordinating across time zones and locations, making remote operations management a practical and common hire rather than a rare exception.
